Since it was established in 1991, Mallyon & Donaldson has concentrated on building and enhancing a reputation for high quality construction, using both modern and traditional methods.
The company specialises in building individual new houses with brick or timber-framed structures, refurbishment and renovation, extensions, garages and boundary walling. Other services include kitchen and bathroom installations, bespoke joinery, the supply and installation of high quality UPVC replacement doors, windows, fascias and soffits, and interior and exterior decoration
Mallyon & Donaldson has particular experience of sympathetically renovating and updating listed buildings and is familiar with the requirements of local authority conservation departments, with which it liaises constantly.
One recent project, the renovation of Robert Cole’s House in Linton, near Cambridge, won a Built Heritage Award in recognition of the quality of the restoration of the high profile historic building. The company has also undertaken projects funded by the National Lottery Grant Scheme and carried out contracts for South Cambridgeshire District Council Home Improvement Agency.
